Another top result for Team Vorarlberg! Alexander Konychev sprints to sixth place at the start of the Tour of South Bohemia UCI 2.2

Team Vorarlberg pro Alexander Konychev sprints to sixth place at the start of the Tour of South Bohemia UCI 2.2

The starting gun fired quite late this Thursday in the Czech Republic for this year’s Tour of South Bohemia / Okolo Jiznich Cech. The opening stage ended after 169 kilometers in Jemnice. Jannis Peter decided not to start earlier this week due to the aftereffects of his crash at the end of August in Rankweil.

Team Vorarlberg wide awake to the finish line – Konychev sprints to sixth place

Lukas Meiler was in a breakaway group midway through the race, which was all caught again by the main field. Team Vorarlberg controlled the field until the finale. In the twisty sprint, Italian Alexander Konychev finished a strong sixth for Team Vorarlberg today.

Briton Jed Smithson from Team Visma-Lease a Bike secured the stage win!
