Team Vorarlberg signs top Austrian talent – climbing specialist Philipp Hofbauer looks forward to big challenges
23-year-old Philipp Hofbauer from Styria is considered one of Austria’s brightest talents. He’s a force to be reckoned with, especially in tours and one-day races on difficult terrain. At 1.93 meters tall and weighing 70 kilograms, he brings the perfect dimensions to the starting lineup. Hofbauer, who joins the Austrian Continental Team WSA KTM Graz, is just as excited about his new commitment as Team Vorarlberg!
Philipp Hofbauer’s statement on the team change: “After five years riding for WSA KTM Graz and enjoying some great success, I’m delighted to be part of Team Vorarlberg starting in 2026. The Team offers me the ideal environment to pursue my sporting goals. The overall package offered by the race calendar, the strength of the squad, and the team’s focus for the upcoming season was the deciding factor for the move. With a view to 2026, I hope to take another step in my development over the winter to achieve top results!”
