Jannis Peter with every chance of a top placing before the final stage of the 15th Int. Oberösterreich Rundfahrt UCI 2.2

The second stage on Saturday from Wels over 150 kilometers to Aigen-Schlägel had a profile for the classics hunters. In the copied finale, the foreign teams once again had their noses in front. Jannis Peter, the new team leader after the retirement of Colin Stüssi, finished 21st today and is now 19th in the overall standings – and has every chance of a top placing tomorrow, as the route is steeply uphill!

The stage winner was the Belgian Aaron Dockx (Alpecin), ahead of the Frenchman Adrien Maire (TDT-Unibet). Both are also ahead in the overall standings after day three.
