Philipp Hofbauer Extends His Bundesliga Lead with a Fourth-Place Finish in Graz — Tobias Nolde Finishes Eighth in the Gravel Championship in Germany

Philipp Hofbauer Finishes Fourth in the Graz Old Town Criterium and Solidifies His Lead in the League! 

Team Vorarlberg pro Philipp Hofbauer, 23, finished a strong fourth tonight as he raced through the narrow streets of Graz. The winner of the 50-kilometer Altstadtkriterium, held in front of a large crowd, was Loic Bettendorff (Hrinkow Advarics) of Luxembourg, ahead of Paul Buschek ( Schwingshandl Intralogistic) of Austria and Anze Skok ( SLO / Kolesarski Nove Mesto). Unfortunately, one of Team Vorarlberg’s co-favorites, Giacomo Ballabio (ITA), crashed.

With this result, Hofbauer extends his lead in the Bundesliga to 763 points. Second place went to Riccardo Zoidl (647, AUT / Team Hrinkow), and third place to Tobias Nolde (594, GER / Team Vorarlberg).

Tobias Nolde Finishes Eighth at the German Gravel Championship in the “Green Hell” After a Strong Gravel Performance! 

The German Team Vorarlberg Pro Tobias Nolde finished eighth last Sunday at the championship races at the Nürburgring after a hard-fought performance. Riding his new Argon18 Antimatter race bike, he   Nolde for long stretches, it was in a class of its own even on gravel and grass. On the technically challenging 125-kilometer course at the Nürburgring, it proved itself Tobias Nolde in excellent form. He was in the decisive lead group for much of the race until a flat tire brought him to a halt. After the problem was fixed, he proved   Nolde He showed fighting spirit and battled his way back into the race. His comeback was rewarded with an outstanding finish. Emil Herzog of Team Red Bull BORA hansgrohe was crowned the new German champion.
