Lukas Meiler wins overall classification at Int. Upper Austria Tour UCI 2.2

We had expected a little more from this year’s Oberösterreich Rundfahrt. But without tour captain Colin Stüssi, who had to cancel the day before due to illness, Team Vorarlberg was not in a position to be at the top of the overall standings. And yet on the final stage on Sunday from St. Florian to the Hinterstoder Höss over 152 kilometers, it was enough for a conciliatory finish.

Lukas Meiler on the podium after a strong stage and winning the overall mountain classification

The man from Oberammergau, who has been a member of Team Vorarlberg for 10 years, was in a leading group for a long time. He secured the points he still needed in the mountain classification and was able to celebrate overall victory in the classification.

Young Jannis Peter finished 18th overall! Frenchman Adrien Maire (TDT-Unibet) was the overall winner of the highly competitive stage race, ahead of Riccardo Zoidl (AUT / Felt-Felbermayr).
