Colin Stüssi finished second overall in the 41st Tour of Romania Turul Romaiei UCI 2.2 – Alexander Konychev sprints to fifth place – depleted team secures another Tour podium in Bucharest
The final 95-kilometer stage on the street circuit in the heart of Bucharest, a city with a population of 1.8 million, was a huge festival. Overall victory in the Tour seemed out of reach on this stage. The Italian team MBH-Balan Bank, led by Tour winner Cesare Chesini (ITA), successfully fended off all of Colin Stüssi’s attacks.
Amann and Feurstein out with gastrointestinal problems
During the night from Saturday to Sunday, Dominik Amann and Kilian Feurstein developed gastrointestinal problems. Starting was out of the question. This drastically changed the situation regarding the overall standings. The four riders were clearly out of the running today.

But Dominik Amann and youngster Kilian Feurstein, in particular, were always on hand in the previous days. Hats off to the entire team, including the support crew.
