What a crowning conclusion to an incredible season! Alexander Konychev wins in Königswiesen – Team Vorarlberg wins the 2025 Cycling League!
It was a demonstration of power par excellence by Team Vorarlberg! In the final race of the 2025 Cycling League in Königswiesen, Upper Austria, over 121 kilometers, the professionals from Vorarlberg were under pressure. They had to outrun Team Hrinkow Advarics today to win the team classification. And they succeeded!
Konychev, Zangerle, Geismayr, Stüssi, Stehli, Feurstein, Nenning, Benz, and Meiler put in a furious race
On the difficult circuit with its many elevation gains, only 33 riders would make it to the finish line. Among them were all the Team Vorarlberg pros. From the start, Daniel Geismayr, Emanuel Zangerle, and co. pushed the pace. Halfway through the race, Geismayr and Zangerle pulled away with three other riders. Then Colin Stüssi and Alexander Konychev close in with a few rivals.

The Italian, who has already celebrated several victories this season, once again shone today. He won the two-man duel with Riccardo Zoidl by four seconds. Emanuel Zangerle, the next Team Vorarlberg pro, followed in third place. Daniel Geismayr finished 5th, Colin Stüssi 8th, Kilian Feurstein 13th, Lukas Meiler 21st, Laurin Nenning 23rd, Felix Stehli 25th, and Pirmin Benz 32nd rounded out the excellent results. Riccardo Zoidl (Team Hrinkow Advarics) won the individual ranking with just a few points ahead of Alexander Konychev.
Team Vorarlberg won the team ranking of the 2025 Cycling Bundesliga ahead of Team Hrinkow Advarics and Team Tirol KTM Cycling. An important and successful conclusion to a fantastic 2025 season! Congratulations to all the drivers and support staff!
