Strong Team Vorarlberg performance at the prologue to the 73rd Tour of Austria – Konychev and Vermeulen in close contact with the best

Alexander Konychev lost his top ten position on the last bend. He had to make corrections on the technically difficult three-kilometer course in St. Pölten. Six seconds behind winner Cameron Rogers (AUS / Lidl-Trek), he nevertheless finished a strong 16th. Moran Vermeulen also showed a very good performance today as the third best Austrian with 24th place, two seconds behind his team colleague.

Filippo Ganna (ITA / INEOS-Grenadiers) was the big favorite. However, the time trial world champion was beaten by one second by the Australian Rogers.
