Kilian Feurstein sprints to 12th place at the Porec Classic UCI 1.2

Team Vorarlberg just misses the top ten at the 37th Porec Classic UCI 1.2

Laurin Nenning in long escape group – Kilian Feurstein shines with 12th place

Team Vorarlberg in its latest formation once again proved to be in strong form at the 37th Porec Classic UCI (1.2) in Croatia on Sunday. On the 142-kilometer course in Istria, the team set several exclamation marks.

Laurin Nenning was particularly active, running in a leading group up to kilometer 120 and playing a key role in shaping the race. Kilian Feurstein delivered a further test of talent, finishing the race in twelfth place and once again narrowly missing out on the top ten, but achieving another top result for Team Vorarlberg.

Victory went to the American Viggo Moore from Team Tirol KTM Cycling. “We are very happy with the aggressiveness and the results of our riders.  Laurin and Kilian was on top of his game today, but everyone else did their job too. These performances give us a tailwind for the upcoming Istria Spring Trophy,” said sports director Paul Renger.

The team will start the next multi-day race at the Istria Spring Trophy (UCI 2.2) on Thursday.
