Lukas Rüegg continues in the mountain jersey after a strong Team Vorarlberg performance on the third stage of the 69th Ronde d`Oise UCI 2.2 in France

Team Vorarlberg also on the offensive on the third stage and defends the mountain jersey at the 69th Ronde d`Oise UCI 2.2

Cycling is one of the most beautiful sports. But on days like this, you often wish there was an indoor arena for your sport. Today, as in much of Europe, it was rainy, windy and cold on the 184-kilometer third stage to Ressons sur Matz.

Today it was Moran Vermeulen, Dominik Amann and mountain king Lukas Rüegg who were placed in every breakaway group until the finale. But the last group with them was also caught before the finish. They had no chance in the sprint. But much more important. Lukas Rüegg’s mountain jersey was successfully defended today. The stage winner was the Frenchman Pierre Barbier (Team Philippe Wagner-Bazin).

Conclusion: Top job delivered and all in – see you tomorrow!

When the final stage over 180 kilometers in Beauvais on Sunday is over, the riders will not be unhappy because of these tough conditions!
