
Fleche du Sud UCI 2.2 – Colin Stüssi gets going – Leader of the combined classification – Alexander Konychev in tenth place!
After the opening stage in Luxembourg yesterday late in the evening to Canach, today Thursday section two with start and finish in Rumelange over 151 kilometers and a good 2000 vertical meters. And once again, a Team Vorarlberg can pull on a classification jersey.
Colin Stüssi was on the attack right from the start today and was able to successfully break away from two rivals after 35 kilometers. He collected a lot of points and finished on the podium today as the new leader of the combined classification. The group is caught 15 kilometers before the finish, but Stüssi and Co. are trending upwards day by day.
Alexander Konychev finishes tenth in today’s bunch sprint. Today’s winner was the Belgian Seppe van den Boer (Baloines-Trek Lions). Overall leader continues to be the German Tim Tom Teutenberg (Lidl-Trek).
Tomorrow the most difficult stage in Bourscheid over 127 kilometers and above all over 2600 meters of altitude. The overall classification is decided here. Good luck guys!
