Jon Knolle in second place in Aachen – Vorarlberg’s Laurin Nenning on his way to the front!
Team Vorarlberg’s “apprentice (2nd year)”, as the smart Laurin describes himself, has shown in recent weeks that he is moving forward. Already strong at the Tour de Allgäu, he finished a strong 23rd place at the Berner Rundfahrt in Lyss on Saturday. Yesterday, Sunday, he finished 26th in the tough GP de la pedale Romande in western Switzerland after 142 kilometers (mountain finish at 2050 meters).
Jon Knolle was even more successful at the weekend. After Krefeld (8th) and Neuss (14th), he finished second yesterday in Aachen NRW (GER). Knolle drove away with two of them and lapped the field. “Slowly the good legs are coming back!” So Jon Knolle in a nutshell!
