Team Vorarlberg captain Lukas Meiler gives the all-clear – injured but soon fit again after crash at Giro della Romagna
Good News: “After falling onto a stationary TV motorcycle in the final of the Giro della Romagna, I can give the all-clear today. After extensive examinations, I didn’t suffer any fractures. The sternoclavicular joint, the joint between the collarbone and sternum, has been dislocated and small ligaments have been torn. However, these should heal. I also have bruises on my ribs, arm and hip. But these won’t hinder me for long, so I’ll soon be back in training. So I can consider myself lucky after this nasty crash!” according to the statement by Lukas Meiler

Team Vorarlberg is heading to the next classic next Sunday. The cherry blossom race to Wels over 170 kilometers. This year for the first time as a UCI category 1.2 race.
