Vive la France – Team Vorarlberg with two youngsters for the 21st Tour Alsace UCI 2.2
French will be spoken again from Wednesday. After a two-year break, Team Vorarlberg is back at the start of the Tour of Alsace. The 21st edition of the Tour Alsace is the best-staffed tour in the UCI category 2.2.
At the request of the organizers, a very young team will be sent to the start. Laurin Nenning, a 20-year-old from Vorarlberg, is celebrating his round trip debut in the team’s colors. Kilian Feurstein (22) will double up alongside him. Feurstein was also nominated by the national team for the Tour de IÀvenir (August 23-29) thanks to his strong performance at the Tour of Austria.
With Colin Stüssi and Jannis Peter, two riders are ready for the overall classification. Pirmin Benz and Emanuel Zangerle complete the team for the 580-kilometre tour, which kicks off on Wednesday with a team prologue in Sausheim over 4300 meters.
