BIG SUNDAY! Team Vorarlberg pro Felix Stehli sensational second place at the Gravel World Cup Wörthersee! Colin Stüssi fifth overall, Jannis Peter ninth in the 20th Tour of Hellas UCI 2.1!

Team Vorarlberg pro Felix Stehli sensational second place at Gravel World Cup in Carinthia! Alexander Konychev eighth on the final stage of the Tour of Hellas – Colin Stüssi TOP with fifth place overall!

In the first Team Vorarlberg appearance in the Gravel World Series, 24-year-old Swiss rider Felix Stehli delivers a sensational performance. In the fast gravel race over 140 kilometers, Stehli finished second 40 seconds behind Denmark’s Magnus Bak Klaris (Team PAS Racing). Third place went to the Austrian Lukas Pöstelberger (Rose Racing Circle).

Daniel Geismayr wins national championship bronze – Kilian Feurstein fifth

Daniel Geismayr and Kilian Feurstein also put in a strong race today. They finish eighth and 14th in the elite race, while Pirmin Benz is 36th. Lukas Pöstelberger becomes the new Austrian national champion ahead of former Team Vorarlberg pro Daniel Federspiel. Daniel Geismayr secures another off-road medal with bronze. Youngster Kilian Feurstein is a great fifth!

Quote from Felix Stehli: “That rocked today. I attacked twice and the three of us rode at the front for a long time. The little Dane hardly gave us any slipstream. This “smoked” us in the final. But what more could you want with second place? Simply brilliant, including the way the other guys rode. That makes you want more!”

Successful Sunday in Greece too!

The fifth and final stage of the 20th Tour of Hellas, which started on Sunday in Marathon, was, as expected, a sprinters’ affair after 155 kilometers in Syntagma near Athens. Alexander Konychev sprinted to eighth place in the EUROBIKE colors. Winner Matteo Moschetti (ITA / Q36.5) ahead of Dylan Groenewegen (NED/Jayco-AlUla).

Colin Stüssi in fifth place overall, Jannis Peter in new place – Team Vorarlberg in third place!

In the overall standings, Colin Stüssi, 16th in today’s stage, is an excellent fifth overall. Jannis Peter improves to ninth place today. Overall winner is the Colombian Harold Martin Lopez (XDS Astana).

Third place for Team Vorarlberg in the team classification after 800 kilometers against 20 teams is also impressive!

Efcharistó Elláda – it was worth the trip!

The six riders Dominik Amann, Alexander Konychev, Colin Stüssi, Jannis Peter, Emanuel Zangerle and captain Lukas Meiler are heading home by plane. They and the STAFF crew did a great job. For the supervisors, it’s back on the land route and the ferry with the team cars.
